Dr. Deborah Gold retired in March 2018 after 30 years practicing adult Infectious Diseases in San Francisco. She was also active teaching medical residents and presented at medical center grand rounds regularly about infectious diseases of concern including Ebola, Zika, pandemic influenza, SARS, etc. Finally, she was the hospital epidemiologist for 15 years and oversaw infection prevention in the hospital and outpatient clinics.
